About the Austin Bead Society

The Austin Bead Society was formed in October, 1990. The objectives of the Society are to promote education and research regarding beads and bead-related subjects, and to provide support to bead collectors, designers, and enthusiasts.

The Austin Bead Society meets the fourth Monday of the month – from 6:30-8:30pm                except in May if the 4th Monday is Memorial Day, then we meet on the 3rd Monday;             and in December, we do not meet.

Our current meeting location is at:

Journey Imperfect Faith Community, 7500 Woodrow Ave., Austin, Texas

Programs are open to the public and include a short business meeting and an educational project. We’d love to see you there.

Workshops are open to any Austin Bead Society member in good standing.  If it is a “for fee” workshop and there are seats available, openings will be available to the public at an additional fee.                                                                                                                                  Click on CALENDAR above to see upcoming workshops.

Membership is open to all. We’d love to have you join in the fun.                                                                                                                                                                                                            Feel free to visit our monthly meetings once or twice before actually joining to see what we’re all about.                                                                                                                                             Learn how to become a member.
