About the

Austin Bead Society

 The Austin Bead Society was formed in October, 1990. The objectives of the Society are to promote education and research regarding beads and bead-related subjects, and to provide support to bead collectors, designers, and enthusiasts.

The Austin Bead Society meets the fourth Monday of the month – from 6:30-8:30pm,

except in May if the 4th Monday is Memorial Day, then we meet on the 3rd Monday;

and in December, we do not meet.

Due to the pandemic, current location for the monthly member meetings and Board meetings is a Zoom meeting online.

Our monthly meetings include a short business meeting and an educational project.  If you’re not a member yet, you are welcome to visit a monthly meeting to see what we’re about.  If you want to attend, email austinbeadsociety@gmail.com and we’ll send you details.

Membership is open to all. We’d love to have you join in the fun.                                                                                                                                                                                                            Feel free to visit a monthly meeting before actually joining to see what we’re all about.
