ABS Meeting: Jan 24, 2022 – Beaded Feather Earrings

Meeting is Jan 24 via Zoom

6-6:30 is Socializing and Catching Up time  
6:30pm – 8 is usually a short class
8-8:30 is Show and Tell time. We show what we’ve been working on or finished since the end of Nov.

Due to the COVID numbers climbing again and how contagious the Omicron variant is – Jan’s meeting will be via Zoom, and not in-person.
All ABS members will receive the link info closer to the meeting date.

This month’s class is “Beaded Feather Earrings” taught by Laura Powell.
This is an easy pattern to follow and very versatile! The result is a very supple and fluid dangling earring. It can also be a pendant!

Techniques:
• Right Angle Weave (RAW)
• Fringe
Materials:
• Color A – Size 11 seed beads (color of the feather)
• Color B – Size 11 seed beads (color of the loop for the ear wire and “Tips”
• Your favorite beading thread (about 60 inches)
• Beading needle
• Scissors
• Beading mat
