Yes, Yes! Finally! We are done with the holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas) and the latest surge has declined significantly. We don’t need to be on Zoom; we can meet in-person, at Austin Bead Gallery. (for March, anyway )
March meeting project will be:

as well as Elections for 2022-2023 Board positions.
It will be an in-person meeting, we’re meeting at Austin Bead Gallery
Even if you missed the Peyote Name Tag Base lesson, Please attend anyway. These techniques are used on many different beaded works, especially cuff bracelets!
We’ll do the Elections first, then jump into Embellishment techniques – taught by member Laura Zeiner.
DESCRIPTION AND MATERIALS LIST:
Here are several options for embellishing your beaded name tag and what you will need for each:
–——–Raw Edge –
Nothing.
Just leave the name tag’s edge as is. If you wish to make your name tag less flexible, we will have a stiffener available.
——–Picot Edge –

Size 11/0 or 15/0 seed beads.
This is a simple decorative edge that frames the name tag.
——-Bead Soup Edge – see photo above for example
Random or coordinated assortment of size 3mm to 8mm beads in various shapes and sizes.

This is a fun and playful edge that frames the name tag.
——-Fringe –

Size 11/0 or 15/0 seed beads
3mm to 8mm beads in the same or different shapes
We will discuss various techniques for adding fringe to your name tag.
