Leather Necklace Primer

Have you ever wanted to make a leather necklace and not known how to end it off except by tying a knot? Want to make it an adjustable length with those cool sliding knots? Or, what if the holes in your beads are not large enough to allow the cord to pass through but you *really* want the leather look? Well, you will learn these things and more at this month’s meeting! Emily will teach us unique tricks to create the look you want in a leather necklace.
Supplies:
Leather crimps – 2 (4 if using clasp), Leather – 3-4 ft of 1.5mm or 2mm diameter, 1 ft beading wire, 2 crimp beads (for beading wire), Beads (the end beads need to have a hole large enough for the beading wire to pass through twice), Needle nose pliers , crimping pliers, Cutters, Beading mat or bead tray, Ruler or tape measure, Clasp (optional)
